It turned out to be a beautiful evening. The band set the mood perfectly for the the view of the spectacular sunset! The wines were varied and interesting, a nice mix of reds and whites. The wine expert was very knowledgeable and readily available to answer questions.

It was a fine night to be on a boat, and the selection of wine to taste was terrific. I met some fun and interesting people of all different backgrounds and I enjoyed that. Suggestions to improve: I was disappointed that there was no somolier on-board to educate us about the wines from each country. God bless Chadds Ford -- they were the only ones to have people at their table. So while it was fun to taste all of them, I felt the experience lacked an education component. -

I thought this was a great event. I do have a few suggestions for the future. 1. Introduce yourself and tell about the event before allowing ppl to just jump in and start with the tastings 2. Talk about the wines or how you picked them or have handouts available with the wines that you chose. People can rate them, make notes, or not take one if they don't want. 3. List or mention new or upcoming events. Not everyone is a member of meetup so that would be helpful for them.

It was great having a blind tasting with the goal of picking out the most expensive wine and the non-Italian wine. Very interesting and fun! Plus, there were some extra wines for "just drinking." Good company too!

I met some great people at this MeetUp. Everyone was friendly and open. The event itself was extremely well run. The wines that everyone brought to the event were very good. Of the 14 wines, there were only 3 that I did not care for but that was my particular taste, others seemed to like them. There were about 4 or 5 very good wines.— Rick

I had an enjoyable evening. We arrived late and it seemed that all of the wines were opened at the same time. It fun when a smaller group opens and tastes the wines together, but that only works with 12 or fewer people.— LaurenB

This was another very nice evening with a good turnout. There was a warm friendly feeling in the room. We enjoyed wines of many different varieties from many different regions. We shared cheeses, crackers, and the meeting space is beautiful with an awesome view of the Delaware River. Thanks to Al, our organizer for a great event.
